The Sapphire Room and Idaho Jazz Education Endowment proudly present Música Brasileira, an evening of Brazilian Samba with Katie G. & The Half Maccs Super Band. Katie’s rich alto vocals, paired with Camden’s dynamic arrangements, bring an evocative depth to the Brazilian jazz style.
Joining them on stage are keyboardist Nick Monteiro, percussionists David Gluck and Grant Green, guitarist Kevin Littrell, Dean Jennings on woodwinds, and vocalist Carol Raye, performing pieces from Brazilian legends like Antonio Carlos Jobim, Sergio Mendes, and Rosa Passos.
