Empowering Emerging Artists, Inspiring Art Enthusiasts

The Water’s Edge Gallery is located inside the Riverside Hotel above the main lobby, and artwork in every genre is displayed throughout the hotel. A mainstay in the Boise art scene, we exhibit local and emerging artists in a vibrant and dynamic space that showcases the creativity and innovation within our community. In addition to exhibits, the Water’s Edge Gallery also hosts workshops, special art exhibits, and other events.

Derek Norsworthy is an Idaho artist currently living on the Camas Prairie in the small town of Fairfield. His wild imagination and love of the outdoors inspire his unique work, with a particular love for Idaho's diverse landscapes and creatures.

Upcoming Exhibits and Events

The Water’s Edge Gallery at The Riverside Hotel is pleased to announce acclaimed Boise artist Frank Goitia as its Featured Artist of the Month for September. The exhibition, “Exploring Our Basque Heritage,” celebrates Boise’s history, culture, and enduring Basque heritage through Goitia’s distinctive body of work. The exhibition will be on display September 6 through October 1, 2026.

The community is invited to meet Frank Goitia and celebrate the opening of the exhibition at a special reception:
